Article Processing Charge

The Rubrics Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to offset expenses associated with the publication of accepted works. This expense supports the sustainability of our open-access model, which provides unrestricted access to high-quality research worldwide without restrictions.

APC Structure

The APC varies based on the number of authors and article word count [max limit per article is 6000 words, and final galley size of 4 MB]. Indian single author: INR 2000; authors from outside India: USD 75. Additional authors INR 500 | USD 10 applicable.

Payment Guidelines

  • Payments accepted in: Indian Rupee (INR) and/or US Dollar (USD).
  • Payment Options:
  • Deadline: Payment is due after acceptance but before publication.

APC Coverage

The charge covers critical publishing services, such as:

  • Editorial Processes: Management of peer review, copyediting, and other quality assurance operations.
  • Production: Typesetting, formatting, and XML conversion.
  • Dissemination: Hosting, indexing, and long-term digital preservation.

Publication Certificate (Optional)

  • Should you need a publication certificate, the additional certificate fee, as indicated below, costs extra:
  • Publication certificate fee: INR 150 / USD 5 per author (Digital Certificate sent via email)

Refund Policy

  • Withdrawals after acceptance or retractions owing to ethical misconduct will not warrant a refund of any kind.
  • Authors take full responsibility for compliance with submission guidelines; failure to comply shall not result in reimbursement.
